Assistant Role Description

In our homes, Assistants share their lives with 4 – 5 Members with a Developmental Disability and a team of 3 – 5 Assistants.  Each person has their own bedroom while the rest of the house is shared as a family home.  Each home has a House Leader who oversees the daily functioning of the house. Assistants receive room and board as well as a modest monthly salary.  They receive two free days each week and 2 – 3 hours of personal time each day.  Vacation time is provided depending on the length of commitment.  Click here for more information about Assistants in L’Arche Winnipeg If you are interested in coming to live in our community as an Assistant, please fill out an Application Form
